Project Manager - Multifamily

Adecco is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee multifamily residential construction projects in Edmonton, AB. This includes high-rise concrete developments and wood-frame apartment complexes with concrete parkades.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Pay Rate: $140k-$160k/year.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the delivery of multifamily construction projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met while meeting client expectations.
  • Track project costs and manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial targets are met without compromising quality or profitability.
  • Handle contract negotiations, manage subcontracts, supplier agreements, and change orders, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Lead the team, including site superintendents, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
  • Proactively identify potential risks or delays and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure all construction work adheres to safety standards, building codes, and quality control measures.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing timely updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, specifically in multifamily residential construction (high-rise concrete or wood-frame projects).
  • Proven experience managing multifamily projects, including concrete parkades, with strong knowledge of construction processes, project budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, teams, and stakeholders. Must demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality or safety.
