Job Description
Senior Estimator - Excavation - GTARole Responsibilities:
- Perform full tender process from invitation to submission for a 100% self-performance excavating company
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimations
- Review scope and complete bid forms
- Conduct site visits and attend bid interviews
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers
- Prepare RFIs (Request for Information) with clients
- Maintain the tender tracker and track submissions
- Follow up with clients throughout the bidding process
- Review production with the operations team
- Mentor and train junior team members
- Present bid opportunities to management
- Seek new excavation opportunities
- Bring new clients and business to the company
- Proactively seek out fresh avenues for excavation projects, utilising industry networks, market analysis, and strategic partnerships

The Successful Applicant
Senior Estimator - Excavation - GTASkills & Experience:Our client is open to hiring this position at either Intermediate, Senior or Lead Estimator level. The minimum requirements for this position are as follows:
- 4+ years construction experience
- 2+ years excavating focused estimating experience
- Experience working for a specialist excavating subcontractor is highly preferred
