This is a duration based role, which we are anticipating to be 12 months long.
The Transportation Analyst serves as liaison between Transportation, Deliver Canada, Distribution, and carriers. This individual supports MedTech and Innovative Medicine's outbound transportation network to ensure optimal service to both shippers and receivers while providing tactical support on transit-related issues.
This individual will provide direct input into the development, implementation and reporting of various analytics projects and metrics while in periodic performance reviews with MedTech and Innovative Medicine. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for daily coordination, track & trace, and exception management for assigned transportation lanes.

Manage the metrics and dashboard for performance and cost savings. This involves managing the process, data and tools to support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for performance and cost savings initiatives. Support the team in collaborating with internal & external business partners, including Source, Planning, Customer Logistics, Distribution and Carriers to deliver results across critical metrics such as on-time and in full at delivery (OTIF-D), on-time delivery (OTD), cost improvement programs, freight spend performance vs.

budget, and quality deliverables. Participate in operational vendor management meetings (business reviews, reporting on operational vendor performance) and support day to day tactical relationships with the vendors. Support cost or process improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree with focus in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics preferred. Experience and Skills Required: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in logistics, analytics, customer service, transportation, distribution, operations, or supply chain.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to succeed with internal and external business partners. Ability to work independently yet effective in a cross-functional team environment Demonstrates initiative and ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Demonstrates analytical experience with experience using programming languages (SQL) and tools (SSMS, Alteryx) Requires intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office proficiency including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables. Tableau, PowerBI or other data visualization systems experience required.
