Seeking Senior Full-time CSR with Hospitality Skills - Toronto

• This is not just your ordinary reception job. Our Customer Service Representative will be given opportunity to be a major and critical part of the musical family and community that we foster everyday. This is a CLIENT-FACING job. People skills a MUST!
• This is an in-person (NOT hybrid) position in Etobicoke. Our 2 customer service representatives must be cumulatively available to work weekday afternoons/evenings (2-10pm) and Saturdays during the day (9:30-5).
• This is a part-time job that can grow to full-time for the right candidates

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma
• 2 years of prior experience working in an administrative/customer service role, preferably in a service industry in Canada is a major asset

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Warm and caring
• Good with children
• Detail-oriented
• Infectious, outgoing personality
• Strong English speaking communication skills
• Additional experience working with children (camps, coaching, etc.) is an asset
• Experience with Canva is an asset
• Fast learner

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• CSR type client-facing work
• Managing schedules
• Answering calls from new and existing families
• Supporting the teachers
• Replying to emails
• Basic graphic design (as a bonus)
• Music lesson sales
• Administrative support at events, functions, etc.
• General organization of the academy
• The position is adaptive and changes with time

AVAILABILITY:

• The job hours are Monday to Thursday 2pm-10pm, Friday 3pm-8pm, & Saturday 9:30am-5pm
• YOUR COVER LETTER MUST INDICATE THAT YOU ARE AVAILABLE FOR THESE "UNUSUAL" HOURS
• Our 2 customer service representatives must be cumulatively available to work these hours

FINE PRINT:

• Customer Service Representatives must be able to maintain a high quality of detail in their work while in a high energy environment. As a result, ONLY applications with cover letters will be considered. All other applications will be discarded. The cover letter should explain why you'd enjoy specifically working at a music academy for children. Please indicate any experience you have with children including camps, daycare, babysitting, as well as any musical experience you may have. Please note professional music experience is not required.
