What is the opportunity?

Working collaboratively with the Senior Director, Technology Infrastructure, the Director, Infrastructure, T&O Performance Management will be a key contributor in collaborating with leaders and stakeholders from across the organization to enhance the strategic business decision support to our Technology Infrastructure partners and simplifying the Finance function through continuous improvement.
This includes enhancing financial transparency into Technology Infrastructure expenses and lead the team in setting performance targets, reporting on key metrics and preparing and presenting forward-looking materials (i.e., estimates, forecasts, and Plan) to drive decision making around spend, prioritization and savings opportunities.

The role offers the opportunity to build relationships with senior members from across Technology Infrastructure, Finance and Business Platforms.

What you will do?
  • Responsible for the oversight of financial processes impacting the Enterprise Technology Infrastructure annual budget
  • Lead the annual financial plan, rolling forecast, estimate and analysis for the Technology Infrastructure group
  • Assessment of strategic opportunities and risks through detailed rolling estimates based on business insights and close collaboration with the TI business
  • Conduct the annual review of TI’s five-year cost trend to facilitate strategic discussion on technology and business demand for infrastructure
  • Establish and maintain a collaborative operating relationship with our TI business partners & stakeholders and other functional subject matter experts on financial matters
  • Operate with an innovative and creative manner that emphasizes continual process improvements in reporting and analytical processes; Drive operational efficiencies and optimize processes to enhance TI Performance Management’s effectiveness
  • Optimize financial management, tracking and advisory support for TI and implement best practices
  • Opportunity to gain an understanding of the intricacies of each TI business functional area
  • Identify new, prioritize and/or oversee enhancements to financial reporting analysis tools and processes supporting TI
  • Initiate ideas on improving efficiencies and simplifying how we work to drive faster, smarter decisions by unlocking tools, data, technology, streamlining processes and reducing cycle time to simplify and enhance how we work
  • Support the enterprise and businesses monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis processes and related business reviews for Senior Management, focusing on alignment with business targets and strategies, transparent reporting on key themes and trends, and increased use of business drivers and key performance metrics
  • Contribute to driver-based reporting, planning and analysis across the TI business; partnering closely with the Business and other Technology & Operations Finance teams to enhance business performance reporting
  • Improve transparency into activity and technology drivers of the TI expense base and enable cost optimization
  • Partner with the allocations team to understand and communicate the drivers of changes in the allocations for the various segments; Supporting the allocations team through providing insight into spend trends in order to supplement their allocation to segments
  • Support the TI Senior Management Team, impacting and influencing financial management framework, new spend, and new vendor proposals
  • Lead the review of the financial modeling and business cases for new investment approvals through PARs
  • Partnering with our technology business partners, analyze, and advise the SVP & CFO, T&O and Functions Finance on spending approvals through the SOW process
  • Ad-hoc projects such as detailed analytical reporting on financial results and forward-looking business drivers
  • Foster team building, trust, and cross-functional efficiencies through effective collaboration with key contributors and stakeholders

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have
  • CPA, CFA and/or MBA
  • 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, or equivalent roles
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including experience with driver-based analytics
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to drive strategic change and simplify processes
  • Demonstrated strength in relationship management and interpersonal skills; specifically able to act as collaborator, change agent and facilitator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively to executives
  • A commitment to develop/mentor leaders at every level and elevate your team’s performance
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry and/or technology platform
  • Superior financial modelling skills
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment supporting senior executives, including experience with executive communications
