Job Description- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support the ingestion, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets.
- Optimize data workflows to ensure efficient processing and availability.
- Collaborate with data scientists to ensure seamless integration and deployment of ML solutions.
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data engineering and ML Ops.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of ML models and data pipelines.
- Lead a high-performing engineering team, providing coaching and empowering team members and squads.
- Ensure processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
- Implement measures to protect sensitive data and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

The Successful Applicant- Software Engineering or Computer Science background is required.
- 3+ years of people management experience including scaling the team.
- 8+ years in data engineering, ML operations, or related fields.
- Advanced expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and in data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Databricks) and ML Ops tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing effectively.
