• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support the ingestion, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets.
• Optimize data workflows to ensure efficient processing and availability.
• Collaborate with data scientists to ensure seamless integration and deployment of ML solutions.
• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data engineering and ML Ops.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of ML models and data pipelines.
• Lead a high-performing engineering team, providing coaching and empowering team members and squads.
• Ensure processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
• Implement measures to protect sensitive data and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

• Software Engineering or Computer Science background is required.
• 3+ years of people management experience including scaling the team.
• 8+ years in data engineering, ML operations, or related fields.
• Advanced expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and in data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Databricks) and ML Ops tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing effectively.
