Financial Controller

The Finance Controller will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the organization, overseeing core accounting, financial reporting, and acquisition accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and distribution, with a proven ability to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and provide insightful financial analysis to support business growth.
This is 3-6 month contract and 5 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities- Core Accounting and Compliance:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Maintain and improve internal control systems and financial policies.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Develop and present financial insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight areas for improvement.
- Acquisition Accounting:
- Lead the financial due diligence process for mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
- Evaluate and manage purchase price allocations (PPAs) and goodwill accounting.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, and external auditors to ensure smooth transitions post-acquisition.
- Strategic Financial Planning:
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
- Provide recommendations on cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
