The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager to join our Enterprise Risk Management team.
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Risk Management the Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for leading and enhancing our business continuity management and crisis management programs. Additionally, you will play a key role in the overall enterprise risk management framework, working closely with senior stakeholders to manage and mitigate risks across the organization.Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive business continuity plans and crisis management strategies, leading the development and implementation of a robust third-party risk management framework, conducting risk assessments, and providing strategic insights to senior leaders.

What your day looks like:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans and crisis management strategies
- Lead the crisis management program, including updating crisis management plans and procedures, and developing and leading tabletop exercises
- Lead the development and implementation of a robust third-party risk management framework in collaboration with the Strategic Sourcing team, focusing on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with third-party relationships
- Prioritize and oversee the management of Aviso’s top risks, including ensuring adequate controls are in place and risk mitigation strategies are planned or in progress
- Create and ensure alignment on enterprise risk programs across the organization
- Mentor internal senior stakeholders and provide guidance to other functional team members on conducting risk assessments and provide subject matter expertise on how to proactively mitigate risk
- Lead the drafting of the quarterly senior management and Board of Directors reports, including collecting, organizing, and visualizing risk metrics information
- Present risk assessments and related risk information to senior leaders, providing strategic insights and ensuring informed decision-making
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- 5 - 7 years of specialized/relevant enterprise and/or operational risk management experience, preferably in the financial services industry, with 2+ years in a related role leading enterprise risk initiatives across a complex, matrix organization
- Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional certification, Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification or similar is preferred
- Crisis Management or Business Continuity Certification (ABCP, CBCP) is an asset
- Proven experience in risk identification, risk analysis, risk treatment and implementing risk management strategies
- Strong critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional relationship building skills – ability to work effectively with and influence people at all levels in an organization
- Proven ability to create alliances and gain commitment and support for desired objectives
- Advanced Power Point skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and inter-personal skills
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
