Context:

The Rolling Stock Procurement team is looking for a Logistics Agent to provide support to the team by ensuring efficient supply chain management.

Missions/Main Duties:

• Coordination of shipments within North America but not limited to;
• Negotiate rates with carriers negotiate prices, improve delivery times, and ensure quality standards;
• Supervise orders/parts to ensure delivery at required location(s);
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and deliveries, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements;
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory management;
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and implement process improvements.

Profile/Skills:

Years of experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in Office suite, particularly Excel and Word;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Familiarity with inventory management.

Personal and soft skills:

• Attention to detail when identifying and ordering parts;
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams;
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, both in French and in English*
