THE ROLE
As a Bar and Function Supervisor, you will contribute to an excellent customer experience in the military messes. You will organize, supervise and schedule the day-to-day bar activities for the bar staff for big events and the everyday moments.You will build a rapport with the military community and be part of various military traditions.
The Bar and Function Supervisor will provide administrative support to bar operations and a variety of services such as preparing and serving beverages, maintaining inventory of bar stock and ordering supplies and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions.You will operate a Point of Sales system; prepare reports on cash/inventory transactions such as daily sales reports (DSR) and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma and several years of experience in beverage sector or a related field
Smart Serve Certification or equivalent
Food Handling Certification, as required
A valid driver’s license (Ontario)
Experience
Providing and supervising hospitality services
Organizing and planning events, banquets and functions
Bar operations
Budget administration
Cash handling Inventory control
Personnel administration
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
