Position Summary:
Are you a dynamic and energetic individual? We are looking for a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Instructor to join the HVAC/Refrigeration Department within the School of Energy.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Full-time training in Entry Level for those wanting to enter the Refrigeration Mechanic trade. All levels of the Refrigeration Mechanic Apprenticeship. Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration programs. Part-time studies and microcredential courses including Canada’s Ozone Layer Protection Program, Interprovincial exam refresher in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, HVAC for Building Professionals, and more.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years’ recent work experience as a journeyperson as a red seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
- Previous supervisory experience with the ability to teach the curriculum.
- Excellent written, oral communication, interpersonal skills and a desire to share knowledge with others.
- High standard of technical excellence, experience with electronic control systems preferred.
- Innovative with a proven track record in the industry.
- Enjoy teamwork in a dynamic and exciting environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.

Salary Range: $78,133 - $115,805 per annum.Additional Salary Information: Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment.
