As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will oversee the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial and regulatory reports for multiple entities. This role requires a hands-on manager who will take ownership of both ongoing responsibilities and opportunities for process improvement and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Working closely with senior leadership, the role also involves preparing and presenting Management Discussion and Analysis (MD& A) to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quarterly and annual financial reporting processes for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting workflows.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Prepare and manage corporate tax working papers while overseeing tax-related activities in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Work directly with internal and external auditors to manage year-end audits and ensure timely resolution of audit inquiries.
  • Partner with FP& A teams to support financial analysis and budget development efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior management in the preparation and clear presentation of MD& A for board discussion and decision-making processes.
