Senior Email Marketing Specialist (6-Month Contract role)
Overview:
As the Senior Email Marketing Specialist, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing email marketing strategies for High Tide’s diverse portfolio of brands. Your expertise in data analysis will drive the creation of effective campaigns, ensuring they are optimized for maximum engagement.You’ll lead the charge in evaluating email performance metrics, translating them into actionable insights that directly impact our marketing strategies.
In this role, you’ll manage paid media campaigns, including programmatic ads, collaborating with external partners to ensure creative assets align with our marketing goals. Working closely with design teams, you’ll ensure all creative elements meet campaign requirements, while providing feedback to copywriters to craft compelling, performance-driven email content.
Leading email marketing meetings for each brand, you’ll keep all teams aligned and ensure timely execution of strategies, and present data findings on weekly performance. Your contributions will play a key role in driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth, making you an integral part of our marketing success.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer email marketing, with a strong understanding of email metrics and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and email design best practices.
- Experience with CRM platforms and workflow management.
- Strong experience in list segmentation, email reporting, and data tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
- Experience in working with paid media (programmatic ads, paid search, etc.) and understanding of how to integrate across marketing channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write strong email copy and provide clear feedback to copywriters.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in tracking ROI and using data to continuously improve campaigns.
- Ability to work with teams across social media, web, SEO, and triggered email for integrated campaigns.
- Experience in email strategy development, customer segmentation, and using customer data to drive engagement.
