The Opportunity: We are looking for a part-time receptionist to join our team! The receptionist will support our team by performing a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have a high attention to detail, and capable of managing multiple tasks with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • answer telephone, screen and direct calls
  • take and relay messages
  • provide information to callers
  • greet persons entering organization
  • direct persons to correct destination
  • deal with queries from the public and customers
  • ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • provide general administrative and clerical support.
  • prepare correspondence and documents.
  • receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • schedule appointments and interviews
  • maintain a daily call log
  • organize conference and meeting room bookings
  • co-ordinate meetings and organize appointments for management
  • monitor and maintain office equipment
  • control inventory relevant to reception area
  • Clean and tidy reception and lobby area
  • order office supplies
  • any other related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
What you Bring:
  • Post secondary education, college diploma or university degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous reception experience.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Work, Excel, Outlook and Power Point

Location and Commitment:

  • In-Office at our Mississauga Head Office
  • We offer flexible start and end times.
  • For our non-operations professionals, our corporate office is open to employees to work Monday through Friday 8AM – 7PM; we believe employees should have the ability to flex their workdays to fit their schedules.
