Job Description
• Recommend and partake in implementation of process improvements within finance department and other areas across the organization
• Observe effectiveness of current business processes
• Collaborate across organization to assist in research and analyzing of effectiveness of workflows
• Monitor KPI's and performance by creating metrics that can be used to influence improvements
• Mentor and train employees on new processes implemented
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks

The Successful Applicant
• BA in Finance, Accounting or Commerce
• 5+ years of experience within the Accounting or Finance Department
• Experience with AP/AR/Payroll and General Accounting
• Proactively identify areas which require resolution and improvement
• Project Accounting experience or exposure is an asset (IT and/or Capital Projects)
• Experience and proficiency with PowerBi and Sharepoint is preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
