We are in search of a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join an organization located in the Ottawa region. This is a permanent/4 day a week position offering a hybrid model.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
-Assisting with the processing of bi-weekly payroll
  • Verify invoice validity
  • Enter bills; make payments to suppliers
  • Follow up with vendors if any discrepancies
  • Prepare deposits; and prepare cheques for signature
  • Credit Card reconciliation
  • HST remittances
  • Prepare employee expenses
  • Prepare and monitor product profitability reports
  • Assist the management team; and implement new accounting procedures if required
  • Preparation of month end and year end closing.
