What You’ll Do:
As the HR Generalist, you’ll work closely with department managers to handle a variety of HR functions, from full-cycle recruitment to policy development and employee engagement. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with HR legislation, managing employee relations, and helping to foster a positive, productive workplace.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for both hourly and salaried staff in Canada and the U.S.
- Collaborate with managers on hiring needs, job descriptions, and performance management
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and provide HR advice
- Track and report on key HR metrics and KPIs
- Identify opportunities for HR grants and submit applications
- Support other projects as directed by senior management
