Director Supply Chain

We are offering a full on-site, long-term contract employment opportunity for a Director of Supply Chain in Etobicoke, Ontario. The role is within the manufacturing industry and involves managing global supply chains, supply chain risk, and logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement global supply chain strategies to enhance business performance and stakeholder value.
• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process from manufacturing to distribution.
• Implement supply chain risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
• Lead and manage the warehouse and logistics functions to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Work closely with manufacturing plants to ensure optimal production levels and quality.
• Utilize supply chain modules in Oracle Manufacturing and SAP Manufacturing for better management.
• Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the manufacturing and logistics industry.
• Collaborate with global manufacturing teams to enhance the manufacturing process and product quality.
• Ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities and oversee the volume manufacturing process.
• Implement and manage warehouse management systems for efficient logistics and distribution.
