Senior Manager, Unsecured Lending (IL or SPL)

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consumer unsecured lending and has previously managed a P/L.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement the strategic plan for an unsecured product, aligned with overall organizational goals.
Evaluate existing products and recommend improvements or new offerings to enhance market share and profitability.
Work with marketing and digital channels to maximize customer acquisition while also retaining valuable customers.
Develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio quality and minimize losses.
Identify and implement process improvements across the loan lifecycle to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Monitor portfolio performance, identify and address potential risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to all applicable lending regulations, compliance policies, and internal procedures working with our legal and compliance teams.
Continuously evaluate product performance and implement enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reduce default rates.
EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
EXPERIENCE 5-8 years of experience in consumer lending Experience managing large P&Ls and driving revenue and profitability.
SKILLS Curious and analytical.
You love data and insights.
Comfortable building plans in PowerPoint and working in Excel Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, regulators, and customers.
Deep knowledge of unsecured lending products Demonstrated success in managing and growing a loan portfolio.
Proven success in managing unsecured loan products, underwriting practices, and credit risk.
