Hybrid Postion - work from home with some in office work located in Calgary & Aldersyde , AB

Mullen Trucking Corp provides a diversified transportation and logistics service to customers throughout Canada and the United States – including truckload, mixed load, dedicated services, project management and specialized services. Mullen Trucking has been in business since 1949 and is part of the Mullen Group of Companies.

Responsibilities: The duties listed below while not complete, are intended to demonstrate the scope of this position.

• Maintain rates and tariffs, as required per customer specifications
• Get credit approval prior to new customer onboarding, complete information from customers, write & manage orders in timely fashion, coordinate trucking requirements/scheduling with Operations. Provide afterhours support to customers/operations as needed
• Maintain status updates on shipments, modify orders as required
• Attend trade shows while representing Mullen Trucking, potentially outside Alberta
• Develop new marketing strategies to enhance business

• Experience in transportation and/or logistics is an asset.
• Post-secondary, project management, marketing certification an asset
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, working with a diverse group of internal and external customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills, primarily Microsoft Office; office space provided in Aldersyde, however access to office resources offsite as needed is required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Some travel may be required, both within Canada and to the United States
• Maintain clear abstract and valid driver’s license with no restrictions or suspensions
