About Bonsai

Bonsai is an all-in-one platform helping agencies, consultancies, and professional service firms run and scale their operations. From lean 5-person studios to 100-person teams, thousands of businesses around the world rely on Bonsai to streamline their workflows and manage everything from proposals and contracts to time tracking, invoicing, finances, and even banking.

As the way we work evolves, so do the needs of modern service businesses. Admin and operations can quickly become a bottleneck to growth—Bonsai removes that friction, so teams can stay focused on delivering great work, not managing overhead.

We’re profitable, growing fast, and backed by world-class investors including Y Combinator, Matrix Partners, and Index Ventures.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced B2B SaaS Senior Product Manager with strong design instincts to own and drive Bonsai’s Workflow product—the engine that powers how our customers win clients, manage projects, and deliver work.

You’ll lead the end-to-end development of features that directly impact thousands of agencies and service businesses globally. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves turning complex problems into intuitive experiences.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the next chapter of Bonsai’s product and growth.

What You'll Do
  • Own the Workflow product area end-to-end—from vision and strategy to feature delivery and adoption
  • You will work closely with the wider team to ship high-quality features that solve real customer problems
  • Develop and maintain a clear, impact-driven product roadmap that balances new features, optimizations, and experiments
  • Conduct user research and analysis to deeply understand customer pain points and workflows
  • Lead discovery, validation, design, and specs for new initiatives
  • Own QA and releases for new features ensuring smooth, high-quality launches
  • Partner with Product Marketing to craft compelling public releases and drive adoption
  • Define success metrics, monitor performance, and run A/B tests to optimize for engagement, activation, and retention
  • Help shape overall product strategy and contribute to cross-functional product thinking

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, ideally at a fast-growing company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear, concise, and user-centric
  • Proven ability to ship features end-to-end in close collaboration with engineers
  • A sharp product eye and a deep appreciation for great UX
  • Solid working knowledge of Figma and the ability to design clean, usable interfaces
  • Highly organized and proactive; able to juggle multiple workstreams with minimal oversight
  • Strong analytical mindset—comfortable using data to guide decisions (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA, or SQL)
  • Bonus: technical, CS or Product Design background

You’ll thrive in this role if the following qualities apply to you:

  • Have strong product instincts and a good design eye—you know when something “feels right”
  • Move quickly and take initiative—you unblock yourself and others without waiting
  • Sweat the details, but ship with purpose—you know when to polish and when to push
  • Take ownership—you care about outcomes and hold the bar high
  • Love collaborating with engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to make things real
  • Are passionate about building intuitive, elegant tools that people love to use
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package — we know you will have a large impact on the company and we strive to compensate accordingly
  • Remote-work option (Eastern Time +/- 3 hours)
  • All-expenses paid team retreats — our last retreat was in Lisbon
  • A chance to make a real impact on a product that helps small businesses succeed
  • Mentorship from experienced SaaS product leaders
