Administrative Assistant

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant for a 1-year temporary contract with a leading organization in Toronto, ON.

In this role, you will provide efficient administrative support to clients, ensuring timely completion of assignments, accurate processing of transactions, and prompt responses to client inquiries.

  • Salary: $30.00/hour
  • Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2-3 days in office initially)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Job Type: Full-time | Temporary (1-year contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Team Managers and Service Coordinators within the Service Delivery team.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within SLA and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Review and approve administrative transactions such as De-registrations, Bank Transfers, Foreign Exchanges, and Internal Account Transfers.
  • Communicate directly with Networks and internal partners via email while navigating operational processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Banking, Transfers, and Data Services.
  • Provide process improvement recommendations to enhance client relationships and operational efficiency.
  • Perform account reconciliations and other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.
  • University degree with a minimum of two years of experience in a brokerage or service role.
  • Completion of the CSC and CPH certifications (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of NBIN structure, procedures, and support systems.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and legal requirements.
  • Familiarity with IBM systems and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a superior level of customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
