We are seeking a dynamic, passionate Pastry Cook to join our talented kitchen team at The Drake Hotel. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries, desserts, and other baked goods that delight our guests. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and the culinary team to ensure that our dessert offerings meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and baking of various pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to recipes
  • Decorating and plating desserts to meet presentation standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
  • Assisting in menu development and creativity in pastry offerings
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Following food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen
  • Assisting with the savoury kitchen on a as-need basis
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of pastry experience in a high-volume kitchen setting
  • Knowledge of various pastry techniques and methods
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
