Responsibilities:

Your daily role:

• Process payroll for all employees (including CCQ workers), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance;
• Submit payments to government agencies, pension and benefit plans, RRSPs, and other third parties;
• Prepare and file Records of Employment (ROE) through Service Canada;
• Handle month-end and year-end processes (accounting, reconciliations, T4/RL1/DAS, etc.);
• Manage employee inquiries and provide reliable support to internal and external stakeholders;
• Assist in payroll audits as needed;
• Proactively contribute to continuous improvement in payroll processes and practices.

Qualifications:

What makes you stand out:

• Post-secondary diploma in Administration, Accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar payroll role;
• Completion of Level 1 from the Canadian Payroll Association required;
• Experience with CCQ payroll (strong asset);
• Excellent French communication skills and advance English;
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as UltiPro, Desjardins, or Viewpoint (asset);
• Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and excellent organizational skills.
