We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will require the successful candidate to manage and maintain our accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately process data entries and code invoices within our accounting system.
- Handle approximately 120 invoices monthly, mainly digitally, through our AP inbox.
- Communicate effectively with coordinators to ensure smooth operations.
- Obtain necessary approvals for all transactions.
- Set up payments using our payment portal and conduct cheque runs when necessary.
- Manage organization credit cards by preparing monthly download files for cardholders, including coding and review.
- Prepare staff expense reports for payroll processing.
- Provide administrative support for accounts payable, such as opening mail, filing, and scanning documents.
- Ensure all cheque runs are carried out, predominantly on Thursdays.
