Controller - Robert Half

We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This role is a 3-month contract employment opportunity in a fast-paced environment where you will oversee a team working in diverse areas such as Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of professionals in areas including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Ledger
• Manage year-end audits effectively, demonstrating strong audit experience
• Ensure lead sheets for auditors are prepared as part of the year-end audit process. Provide timely information to auditor requests.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of month-end
• Maintain efficient daily AP processing and resolve vendor inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor GL accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
