The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager – Court Services, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of day-to-day operations for court administration, court support, and the supervision of the Court Services Section.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Degree in public or business administration, commerce, or a related discipline; and
  • Four years’ experience in court administration; or
  • Diploma in public, business, or judicial administration or a related discipline; and
  • six years’ experience in court administration
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized environment
  • Thorough knowledge of and ability to interpret regulations/legislation and processes related to court administration matters
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the ICON system (Integrated Court Offences Network)
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with municipal partners, private and public officials, direct reports, co-workers, and the general public
  • Strong research, project/time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
