We searching for a Finance Business Partner to join our Halton headquartered client. Our client is a global distribution company with locations across Canada. In the role of Finance Business Partner, you will support the Regional Leader in providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions to grow both top line revenues and bottom line profits.
You are not simply a CPA who will sit at your desk to reconcile g/l accounts and prepare financial statements. You enjoy getting out there to collaborate with Operations and teams across the organization. You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment and love to understand the business from end to end.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal part in the financial management of the business, providing vital input into decision-making processes, and ensuring financial integrity throughout all aspects of the operations. This is a hybrid position which requires up to 3 days per week onsite.

You do not shy away from analyzing the company's financial position from all angles: revenues, margins, labour and overhead, expenses and working capital.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Performance Analysis- Provide insightful commentary on monthly regional financial performance, including Sales, Margins, Operating Expenses, and Working Capital.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify areas for improvement and offer recommendations.
- Lead and execute budgeting and forecasting processes for the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with the Regional Business Leader to define, plan, and execute strategies to meet targets and grow the business.
- Help ensure the Business Unit is successful in completing initiatives and attaining regional budgets.
- Analyze Business Unit performance, track results, and report on performance metrics while identifying and communicating opportunities for improvement.
- Assist the Regional Business Leader with the preparation and presentation of monthly financial results to the Leadership Team.
- Present key insights during monthly Business Reviews, focusing on P& L, Balance Sheet, and market trends affecting financial performance.
- Foster excellent working relationships with key internal stakeholders to support financial decision-making and business growth.
- Engage with various departments to provide financial insight, influence operational decisions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
