Salary Range: $78,336 - $97,920(plus comprehensive benefits, where applicable)

Your Impact:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor, business partner, brand ambassador, and progressive influencer. You will:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for frontline and individual contributor roles across Peel Region.
  • Develop and execute inclusive sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to strategically plan recruitment efforts and provide expert guidance.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring fairness, transparency, and engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Use market intelligence and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize recruitment outcomes.
  • Champion continuous improvement by introducing innovative sourcing methods, best practices, and process enhancements.
  • Support Peel Region’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by mitigating bias and fostering equitable hiring processes.
  • Actively engage in community outreach, workforce planning, and recruitment marketing initiatives to strengthen Peel’s employer brand.

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally in a public sector and/or unionized environment.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset).
  • Deep understanding of employment legislation, collective agreements, and best practices in inclusive recruitment.
  • Expertise in behavioral-based interviewing, assessment tools, and selection processes.
  • Strong ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels to guide hiring decisions.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, social media recruiting, and talent analytics.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends in talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement allows for a blend of in person and hybrid work that adapts to support both organizational priorities and employee flexibility and is subject to change over time.

It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that we're compliant with all regulations and policies.
