IT Manager - Ajax

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues swiftly.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and mobile devices.
• Manage IT support tickets and document solutions using a ticketing system.
• Ensure the security and reliability of IT systems through regular maintenance, patches, and updates.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and vendors on IT projects and enhancements.
• Train staff on cybersecurity protocols, software use, and IT best practices.
• Lead system improvement initiatives and help define KPIs to measure IT support performance.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety policies in all IT-related activities.

Requirements:

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• 3+ years of experience in IT support or IT management
• Strong knowledge of desktop and network troubleshooting
• Experience with Microsoft environments (Office 365, Active Directory, Windows OS)
• A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT infrastructure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
