We are looking for a Gift Card Intern to join our Marketing Department this holiday season to manage day-to-day gift card fulfillment, as well as support the private events program and various marketing initiatives for all brands (JOEY Restaurants, LOCAL Public Eatery, SALTLIK).

As a natural teamplayer and strong multitasker who knows it’s all in the details, you’ll bring your interest in the world of sales and brand to gain more experience in hospitality marketing and brand management, as well as build practical career skills.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of the retail and corporate gift card programs
  • Gift card reporting and budgeting, including tracking store sales, processing payments and reconciling with Finance
  • Design co-branded gift cards, print and ship gift cards to partners and corporate clients, and submit online gift card orders
  • Communicate directly with operators and guests regarding gift card inquiries and orders
  • Gift card inventory and fund management
  • Day-to-day support for the private events and large parties programs
  • Support with various tasks related to guest feedback, reservations, marketing iniatives, reporting and analytics
Requirements
  • Education – Marketing, business or hospitality student or graduate
  • Industry Knowledge – Prior experience in the hospitality industry
  • Clear Communication – Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer Experience – Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Canva
  • Think on Your Feet – No matter the pace or point within a task or project, your solutions-oriented mindset and decision-making skills ensure you keep accountabilities on track and deliverables in tight, polished packages
  • Curiosity and Integrity – Your passion to win is fuelled by curiousity and grounded in integrity
  • This will be a contract position ending in January 31, 2025
  • This is an in-person position based out of the Corporate Office in Coal Harbour, with a minimum of 4 days a week, 9AM – 5PM PST and paid hourly.

$27/hour
